Programs for Organizations
The Financial Literacy Initiative partners with employers and organizations of all types across North Carolina to deliver workforce training and research collaborations grounded in Poole College faculty expertise.
Programs can include on-site and virtual training for employees, benefits-focused modules for HR portals, and research partnerships to design and evaluate financial literacy interventions tailored to your employees.
Programs for NC State Students
BUS 225 Personal Finance
Often called Adulting 101, BUS 225 is a three-credit-hour course covering budgeting, credit, loans, employer benefits and investing basics. BUS 225 is open to all NC State students, regardless of major.
Financial Literacy for Athletes
This Non-credit financial literacy education designed specifically for student-athletes.
High-Impact Experiences
The Financial Literacy Initiative provides opportunities for Poole students to engage directly with faculty to create and deliver financial literacy content — connecting to Poole’s broader commitment to high-impact educational experiences.
